Christmas Is Coming..

Sometimes November and December seem like one big, blurry month to me.  One big, blurry, happy, memory-filled month.  For us, the holidays are usually a big hustle and bustle- hubs' birthday is right around Thanksgiving (falls on the same day this year- look out for some candles in our turkey) and mine is three days before Christmas, so not only do we have two major holidays, but two birthdays as well. This year will actually be our first year not traveling back to PA for Christmas, so there will probably be a little less bustle than usual, but we're looking forward to spending time as a little family with some new traditions.

One of my favorite holiday to-do's is designing Christmas cards. I like to write messages with all of them and smother our friends and family with holiday love.  Last year, we decided to use Shutterfly to make things a bit simpler and I loved the results. Here is our card from last year:

(nativity brown)

This year, we'll be going the same route.  There are some great options to choose from.. I'm not sure how I will pick! Christmas cards, greeting cards, photo cards.. the works.

Here are a few I'm liking this year:
I love the chevrons, of course. (merry bright zigzag)

 Simple and cute. (little snowflake)

I love the traditional looking title and the black & white shot. (merry words)

Simple, with a little pop of color. (rainbow greetings)

I actually hijacked this idea last year and made a similar list on my computer because I loved it so much! (top moments)

You need a great photo for this one- lots of smiles! (what fun)

Love the red & green. (wishing you merry)

Great message, not to mention I enjoy the varied fonts. (mighty God)

Shutterfly also has calendars and photo gifts available so you can scratch a few names of your Christmas list at the same time you're ordering cards.  I have always had success with Shutterfly and I love their promotions! Make sure you sign up for their emails- they are always sending coupon codes and free print offers.

Hope you're getting into the holiday spirit, too!

*Full disclosure- I am receiving 25 free cards from Shutterfly for this post. Fellow bloggers, go here if you would like to participate as well!

  1. We're going to use Shutterfly this year also. I've received some cards from people who have used them before and I always like how they print. Now for the hard decision to choose one, lol.
